On July 2, 2022, the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, and Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security decided to hold the Third Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle International Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition"). The preliminary competition for the International Student Track was held at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications in Chongqing. LA ODE ALI MUSYAFAR, an Indonesian international student from Chongqing Medical University (CQMU), led his team to participate in the competition.

The project that entered the competition was entitled "Clinical application development based on in situ bone flap technology", which explained that the application of ultrasonic osteotome technology enhanced the advantages of in situ bone flap technology and improved the safety and efficiency of surgery. The project, based on a written proposal, was polished by CQMU's team of experts and reviewed by experts present at the competition. It emerged from more than 20 competing entries as the best project and advanced to the preliminary contest through the city's preliminary online evaluation. LA ODE ALI MUSYAFAR was calm and collected throughout the competition, showing the elegant demeanor of international students of CQMU.

Since 2020, the "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" has been successfully held for three times. To enrich the second classroom of international students, strengthen Chinese National Conditions & Culture education, and improve the enthusiasm of international students for Chinese learning, CQMU has been sending teams of international students to participate in the competition ever since. CQMU teams have won the third prize, excellent project award, excellent organization award,etc.
