Recently, the list of outstanding deeds in the project “Hand in Hand and Heart to Heart Against the Pandemic” was announced. The international student administration of the College of Foreign Languages recommended by CQMU, standing out from the competitors from 168 universities, became the only university administration from Chongqing in the list of “Outstanding Anti-epidemic Deeds (Collectives)”.
In order to fully demonstrate the spirit of solidarity and dedication of the international student administration and international students themselves during the fight against COVID-19, under the guidance ofCQMU leaders, the College of Foreign Languages has recorded the effectiveness and achievements of anti-epidemic works since the outbreak of achievements of the management cadre team of foreign students from the School since the outbreak COVID-19 and has generated an article entitled “Skills under Crisesand Charges against Difficulties”. The article describes the deeds carried out by CQMU administration of international students during thepandemic, such ascountermarching to campus, guarding students' health, ensuring the campus safety, supporting anti-epidemic champions, and publicizing anti-epidemic stories. The content of the article is truthful and moving, and the expression of the article is clear and fluent, which highlights the excellent characters of the international student administration such as remaining true to original aspiration, being responsible, practicing faith, courage and fearlessness, and willingness to contribute.
The fact that the CQMU anti-epidemic deedshas been listed demonstrates thestrong CPC spirit and the international student administration’s willingness to takeresponsibility and to fight. Furthermore, thisreflects the determination and ability of CQMU to build a teaching team with an international vision and cultivate high-level talents with international competitiveness,and encourages CQMU employees to base themselves on their own duties, to give full play to their talents, to realize their self-worth and social values, and to grow with the motherland and forge ahead with the new era.
