Please follow the steps below to apply for residence permit extension:

Step 1: Preparation

(1) Renew insurance in advance (see Attachment 1).

(2) Pay all outstanding tuition and fees.

Step 2: Request official letters from CIE

Apply on CUCAS system (see  Attachmemt 2).

Step 3: Submit Application to Visa Office

Bring the following materials to the visa office.

    [Study at Old Campus: Yuzhong District Entry-Exit Administration Bureau]

(1) Official letter from CIE.

(2) Completed Residence Permit Application Form (Attachment 3).

(3) Passport copies:

Personal information page.

Current residence permit page.

(4) Visa photo and photo receipt.

(5) JW 202/201 form (How to get: see the last part).

Step 3: Upload New Residence permit

Upload the new visa page of passport to CUCAS system

  a. Register at the study in china website, the registration link is:
  https://uid.studyinchina.edu.cn/personalRegister.
  (Before you fill in the form, you must check your information in the school system to make sure your information is the same.)

• Students whose residence permits expire during the vacation must apply in advance.
