The documents you need to bring for the residence permit:

1、Valid passport, visa and their photocopies

2、Photocopy of the Admission Notice

3、Certificate of Registration for Accommodation

4、One visa photo and Receipt for Chongqing Public Security Bureau

5、The white page of Certificate of Verification for Physical

   Examinatio n Record for Foreigner or Overseas Chinese

6、The yellow page of the JW 202 form and the official letters issued

   by the university (College of International Education Office will

   issue you the two documents)

7、Accurately completed Application Form for Visa and for Residence

   Permit (you can find the vacant one at Chongqing Exit-Entry

   Administration Service Center)

Generally the residence permit, which is stick to your passport, can be ready within three working days if the application documents are complete. When you go there again to pick up your passport then, you need to bring with you a bank card (no credit card and cash) for the payment and the receipt which was issued when you submitted the materials.
